Thomas Brett, aged 22, found guilty on an indictment for breaking into the dwelling house of Samuel Player in the parish of Stanstead Montfichet on 28th February 1786; and stealing therefrom 2 wheaten loaves (valued at 15d). 5 lbs of pickled pork (valued at 2/-), 9 lbs of lump sugar and 30/- in money numbered.
